SENATE BILL NO. 681

                                                                             A bill to amend 1927 PA 175, entitled                                             

"The code of criminal procedure,"                                           

(MCL 760.1 to 777.69) by adding section 11a to chapter VI.                  

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

1                               CHAPTER VI                                      

2   Sec. 11a.  On motion of either party, the magistrate may                    

3   permit the testimony of an expert witness or, upon a showing of             

4   good cause, any witness to be conducted by means of telephonic,             

5   voice, or video conferencing.
