SUBSTITUTE FOR

SENATE BILL NO. 111

                                                                             A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled                                             

"Natural resources and environmental protection act,"                       

(MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding section 74103a.                        

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

1   Sec. 74103a.  On each day that a state park containing a                    

2   designated shooting range is open to visitors, the department               

3   shall post a notice at the entrance to the recreational areas of            

4   the state park that states the hours of operation of the shooting           

5   range on that day.  The notice shall be posted in a visible                 

6   location, and the lettering on the notice shall be of a                     

7   sufficient type size to be easily read by state park visitors.
