SUBSTITUTE FOR

SENATE BILL NO. 860

                                                                             A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled                                             

"Natural resources and environmental protection act,"                       

(MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding section 8905f.                         

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

1   Sec. 8905f.  The department of transportation shall                         

2   establish and maintain a statewide toll-free telephone number to            

3   receive information on violations of this part.  The department             

4   of transportation shall take steps to inform the public of the              

5   existence and purpose of the toll-free number, including, but not           

6   limited to, publicizing the number on the department of                     

7   transportation's internet website.
