SUBSTITUTE FOR

SENATE BILL NO. 1179

                                                                             A bill to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled                                             

"Michigan memorial highway act,"                                            

(MCL 250.1001 to 250.1100) by adding section 74.                            

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

1   Sec. 74.  The bridge on US-31 in Ottawa county located in                   

2   the city of Grand Haven between Jackson street and the M-104                

3   exit, locally known as the "South Channel Bridge", shall be known           

4   as the "Veterans Memorial Bridge".
