A joint resolution proposing an amendment to the state
constitution of 1963, by adding section 25 to article I, to
recognize a right to hunt and fish, to take game and fish, and to
camp.
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
state of Michigan, That the following amendment to the state
constitution of 1963, to recognize a right to hunt and fish, to
take game and fish, and to camp, is proposed, agreed to, and
submitted to the people of the state:
1 ARTICLE I
2 Sec. 25. Subject to conditions established by law to manage
3 natural resources for the common good, the people have the right
4 to hunt and fish, to take game and fish, and to camp.
5 Resolved further, That the foregoing amendment shall be
6 submitted to the people of the state at the next general election
1 in the manner provided by law.
