CONTENT
The bill would amend Public Act 412 of 1976 (dealing with the control of diseases among bees) to delete a requirement that the Director of the Michigan Department of Agriculture promulgate rules to carry out the Act, including rules to provide for seizure, inspection, disinfection, destruction, or other disposition of bees, beekeeping equipment, or bee products. Under the bill, the Director still would be permitted to promulgate these rules.
