A bill to amend 1956 PA 218, entitled
"The insurance code of 1956,"
by amending section 3716 (MCL 500.3716), as added by 2003 PA 88.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 3716. This chapter does not apply to a health benefit
plan sponsored by a small employer that is an Archer medical
savings account that meets all requirements of section 220 of the
internal
revenue code, of 1986 26 USC 220, or to a health savings
account that meets all requirements of section 223 of the internal
revenue code, 26 USC 223.
