A bill to amend 1846 RS 16, entitled
"Of the powers and duties of townships, the election and duties of
township officers, and the division of townships,"
by amending section 78 (MCL 41.78), as amended by 1989 PA 77.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec.
78. (1) Each At
the expense of the township, each
township treasurer shall keep an accurate account of the receipts
and expenditures of township money in a book or by electronic means
which meets the uniform accounting requirements of the state
treasurer. ,

funds of the township and shall be delivered in a timely manner to
the
