A bill to amend 1974 PA 369, entitled
"Driver education and training schools act,"
by amending section 11 (MCL 256.611), as added by 2004 PA 70.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 11. The department shall approve the segment 1 and
segment 2 driver education course performance objectives required
to be met for an otherwise qualified individual to obtain a level 1
graduated license or a level 2 graduated license under section 310e
of the Michigan vehicle code, 1949 PA 300, MCL 257.310e. Segment 1
shall include information concerning the laws pertaining to
motorcycle operators and shall emphasize awareness of the operation
of motorcycles on the streets, roads, and highways of this state.
