House Resolution No. 272.
A resolution to extend the reporting date for the special committee on child protection created by House Resolution No. 204.
Whereas, House Resolution No. 204 created the special committee on child protection. This special committee, which is studying strategies to strengthen child protection efforts in our state, was charged with reporting its findings and recommendations by July 1, 2006. While the special committee has made progress toward its goals, more time is needed to carry out this significant task; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the House of Representatives, That the special committee on child protection created by House Resolution No. 204 shall report its findings and recommendations to the full House of Representatives by December 31, 2006; and be it further
Resolved, That copies of this resolution be transmitted to the special committee on child protection.
