CONTENT
The bill would amend Public Act 3 of 1939, the Public Service Commission law, to require the Energy Office in the Department of Labor and Economic Growth to give to the Legislature an annual report with legislative recommendations for increasing energy conservation and efficiency.


The bill also states, "The legislature finds that advancing energy conservation and efficiency programs is important for the state's economic future and energy stability and to protect the public health of its citizens and environment. It is the intent of the legislature to promote energy conservation and efficiency measures to save energy and reduce demand for electricity, natural gas, and oil."
