CONTENT
The bill would amend the Lottery Act to prohibit a licensed lottery sales agent from giving or offering to give any money or other thing of value to the holder of a lottery ticket or share for winning the lottery, other than the prize if payment of the prize by the agent were authorized by the Lottery Commissioner.
(Cash prizes worth up to $600 may be claimed at any Michigan Lottery retailer, though the retailers are under no obligation to redeem those prizes.)
