CONTENT
The bill would amend the Food Law to define "agricultural use operation" as a maple syrup production facility or similar food establishment that finishes a raw commodity and is integral to the agricultural production of, and is located at, a farm.


An agricultural use operation would not be considered a food processing plant or retail processing operation for purposes of personal or real property, but would have to meet the same standards and licensing requirements as prescribed in the Law.
