A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled
"Natural resources and environmental protection act,"
(MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding section 40111b.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 40111b. (1) The department or commission shall not
prohibit a person from taking fox or coyote from a scaffold,
platform, or tree if the taking is otherwise lawful.
(2) Subsection (1) does not exempt a scaffold, platform,
ladder, or step erected on public lands under subsection (1) from
any labeling or other requirements generally applicable to such
structures or devices on public lands.
