A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled
"Michigan election law,"
(MCL 168.1 to 168.992) by adding section 38.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 38. At the request of the secretary of state or his or
her authorized agent, the department of state police shall provide
assistance to protect the integrity of the election process and
enforce the provisions of this act.
