A bill to amend 1846 RS 14, entitled
"Of county officers,"
(MCL 48.35 to 48.48) by adding section 40a.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 40a. In addition to the requirements of section 40 and
any other requirements provided by law, an order or resolution of
the county board of commissioners authorizing the transfer of
$10,000.00 or more from any county fund or account shall include a
notarized signature for each of the following:
(a) The county treasurer.
(b) The chairperson of the county board of commissioners, the
county controller, or the county clerk.
