House Changes to Senate-Passed:
  1. University Operations, Agricultural Experiment Station (AES), Cooperative Extension Service (CES). House restored Senate's 3.1% GF/GP reduction. 47,804,700
2. State Competitive Scholarships. House added sufficient GF/GP funding to increase the annual grant maximum from $510 per student to $800 per student, for these need/merit-based grants for students at public and independent colleges. 8,391,500
3. Tuition Grants. House concurred with Senate's restoration (Governor had eliminated these need-based grants for students at independent colleges) but added $100 GF/GP to maintain a point of difference. 100
4. Tuition Incentive Program (TIP). House concurred with Senate's restoration of current year program (Governor had eliminated Phase II of TIP which reimburses for bachelor's degree programs) but replaced $7.3 million of Federal TANF revenue, added by the Senate, with $7.3 million of GF/GP revenue. 0
