6. University Operations. Both House and Senate replaced $68.2 million in Federal ARRA revenue with GF/GP. House restored Senate's 3.1% GF/GP reduction. Conference reduced each university's operations appropriation by 2.8%. Table 1 outlines the FY 2010-11 amounts for each university. (40,837,700)
7. Agricultural Experiment Station (AES) and Cooperative Extension Service (CES). House restored Senate's 3.1% GF/GP reduction. Conference reduced AES and CES by 2.8%, resulting in FY 2010-11 funding levels of $33,243,100 and $28,672,600, respectively. (1,780,200)
8. State Competitive Scholarships. Senate retained FY 2009-10 program; House added $8.4 million GF/GP to increase the annual grant maximum from $510 per student to $800 per student, for these need/merit based grants for students at public and independent colleges. Conference added $3,653,200 GF/GP and included a reduction of $1.4 million in Federal funds, resulting in an FY 2010-11 total funding level of $19,861,700. This funding level would equalize the two-year appropriation reductions for Tuition Grants and Competitive Scholarships at 44.1%. 2,253,200
