CONTENT
The bill would amend the Michigan Memorial Highway Act to designate highway M-188 in Eaton County the "Elgie G. Hanna Memorial Highway".

BACKGROUND
Elgie Hanna was the only alumnus of the Veterans of Foreign Wars National Home for Children to be killed in action during the Vietnam War. The National Home is a facility created to care for the developmental, social, and spiritual needs of the children and families of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. It is located in Eaton County.
