CONTENT
The bill would repeal Section 2629 of the Occupational Code, which requires an applicant for relicensure as a certified general real estate appraiser, a certified residential real estate appraiser, or a State licensed real estate appraiser to complete the applicable licensing examination if his or her license has lapsed for three or more continuous years. Also, under Section 2629, the Code's continuing education requirements for appraisers with those licenses do not apply to an individual renewing his or her license in the year in which the original license is issued.
