A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled
"Natural resources and environmental protection act,"
by repealing part 205 (MCL 324.20501 to 324.20519).
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Enacting section 1. Sections 20501, 20503, 20505, 20507,
20511, 20513, 20515, 20517, and 20519 of the natural resources and
environmental protection act, 1994 PA 451, MCL 324.20501,
324.20503, 324.20505, 324.20507, 324.20511, 324.20513, 324.20515,
324.20517, and 324.20519, are repealed.
Enacting section 2. (1) The heading of part 205 and section
20509 of the natural resources and environmental protection act,
1994 PA 451, MCL 324.20509, are repealed effective 120 days after
the effective date of this act.
(2) Upon the repeal of section 20509 of the natural resources
and environmental protection act, 1994 PA 451, MCL 324.20509, the
state treasurer shall transfer any money in the laboratory data
quality recognition program fund created by that section to the
general fund.
