SUBSTITUTE FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 4880

     A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled

"Michigan election law,"

(MCL 168.1 to 168.992) by adding section 932c.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

     Sec. 932c. (1) A person shall not knowingly or intentionally

provide false or misleading information to a person concerning the

person's eligibility to vote or the time, place, or manner in which

the person may cast his or her vote.

     (2) A person who violates this section is guilty of a felony.
