A bill to amend 1931 PA 328, entitled
"The Michigan penal code,"
(MCL 750.1 to 750.568) by adding section 145e.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 145e. A person shall not sell brass knuckles to a child.
A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor
punishable by imprisonment for not more than 90 days or a fine of
not more than $500.00, or both. As used in this section, "child"
means a person who is less than 18 years of age and is not
emancipated by operation of law as provided in section 4 of 1968 PA
293, MCL 722.4.
