     A bill to make, supplement, and adjust appropriations for

 

various state departments and agencies for the fiscal year ending

 

September 30, 2010; and to provide for the expenditure of the

 

appropriations.

PART 2

 

PROVISIONS CONCERNING APPROPRIATIONS

 

GENERAL SECTIONS

 

     Sec. 201. Pursuant to section 30 of article IX of the state

 

constitution of 1963, total state spending from state resources

 

under part 1 for fiscal year 2009-2010 is $134,600.00 and state

 

spending from state resources to be paid to local units of

 

government for fiscal year 2009-2010 is $134,600.00. The itemized

 

statement below identifies appropriations from which spending to

 

units of local government will occur:

     Sec. 202. The appropriations made and expenditures authorized

 

under this act and the departments, commissions, boards, offices,

 

and programs for which appropriations are made under this act are

 

subject to the management and budget act, 1984 PA 431, MCL 18.1101

 

to 18.1594.

 

 

 

DEPARTMENT OF STATE POLICE

 

     Sec. 301. The funds appropriated in part 1 for grants for


 

disaster assistance are designated as a work project appropriation

 

and shall not lapse at the end of the fiscal year. Any unencumbered

 

and unexpended funds shall continue to be available until the

 

project has been completed. The following is in compliance with

 

section 451a(1) of the management and budget act, 1984 PA 431, MCL

 

18.1451a:

 

     (a) The purpose of the project is disaster assistance in

 

Monroe County pursuant to section 19 of the emergency management

 

act, 1976 PA 390, MCL 30.419.

 

     (b) The project will be accomplished by grants to local units

 

of government.

 

     (c) The total estimated cost of the project is $134,600.00.

 

     (d) The tentative completion date is September 30, 2014.
