A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled
"Public health code,"
(MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding section 20955.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 20955. Notwithstanding any other provision of this part
to the contrary, the license of an individual who has been inducted
or is entering into active service in the military service of the
United States, an auxiliary of the military service of the United
States, or the United States public health service shall continue
in effect without further action by the individual until discharge
or leaving the service. The individual shall notify the department
when entering into active military service or federal employment as
described in this section and upon the discharge from or leaving
that service or employment.
