OFFICER JAMES BONNEAU MEMORIAL BRIDGE
House Bill 4089
Sponsor: Rep. Earl Poleski
Committee: Transportation and Infrastructure
Complete to 5-13-13
A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4089 AS INTRODUCED 1-22-13
The bill would amend the Michigan Memorial Highway Act to designate the bridge on West Avenue in Jackson County between Ganson Street and Wildwood Avenue as the "Officer James Bonneau Memorial Bridge."
FISCAL IMPACT:
Section 2 of the Michigan Memorial Highway Act indicates that the State Transportation Department shall only provide for the erection of suitable markers indicating the name of the highway "when sufficient private contributions are received to completely cover the cost of erecting and maintaining those markers." As a result, the bill has no state or local fiscal impact.
