A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4745 AS INTRODUCED 5-21-13

House Bill 4745 makes numerous technical changes to the Insurance Code of 1956 in order to replace references to the "Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation" and the "Commissioner" with the "Department of Insurance and Financial Services" (or just "Department") and the "Director," respectively, in accordance with Executive Order 2013-1, which created the new Department of Insurance and Financial Services.

FISCAL IMPACT:

House Bill 4745 makes technical changes to the Insurance Code of 1956, and therefore would not have a fiscal impact on the Department of Insurance and Financial Services.
