CONTENT

The bill would amend the Management and Budget Act to require the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget all other things being equal, to give preference to the purchase of biobased products that have the United States Department of Agriculture certified biobased label.

The bill would define "biobased product" as a product granted the United States Department of Agriculture certified biobased product label.

FISCAL IMPACT

The Department of Technology, Management, and Budget reports that the bill would have a minimal fiscal impact on its operations and would require only minor tweaking to existing procedures.
