CONTENT

 

The bill would amend Part 401 (Wildlife Conservation) of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act to provide that an individual could not be prosecuted, punished, or penalized by the State of Michigan for any of the following:

 

 --    Lawfully taking game in another state.

 --    Lawfully engaging in a hunt in another state.

 --    Possessing game that was lawfully taken in another state or Michigan, if that game were possessed in compliance with the Act and with orders issued under it.
