SENATE SUBSTITUTE FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 5447

     A bill to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled

"Michigan memorial highway act,"

(MCL 250.1001 to 250.2080) by adding section 1064a.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

     Sec. 1064a. The portion of highway US-41 beginning at the

intersection of US-41 and highway M-28 in the city of Harvey and

extending north to the intersection of US-41 and Genesee street in

the city of Marquette shall be known as the "Earl DeMarse Memorial

Highway".
