SUBSTITUTE FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 5138

     A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled

"Michigan vehicle code,"

(MCL 257.1 to 257.923) by adding section 811y.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

Sec. 811y. (1) The secretary of state shall transfer the

donation money from the sale of fund-raising plates recognizing the

Michigan breast and cervical cancer control program created under

section 811x to the state treasurer, who shall deposit the money on

a quarterly basis to Amanda's fund for breast cancer prevention and

treatment as provided in the Amanda's fund for breast cancer

prevention and treatment act, 2007 PA 134, MCL 333.26231 to

333.26237.

     (2) Beginning not later than February 1, 2014, the Michigan

breast and cervical cancer control program shall submit to the

House Bill No. 5138 (H-2) as amended December 4, 2013

state treasurer a summary of the expenditures during the preceding

year of the money received under this section.

     (3) As used in this section, "Michigan breast and cervical

cancer control program" means the breast and cervical cancer

control program as defined in section 2 of the Amanda's fund for

breast cancer prevention and treatment act, 2007 PA 134, MCL

333.26232.

[Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect unless Senate Bill No. 101 of the 97th Legislature is enacted into law.]
