A bill to amend 1980 PA 350, entitled
"The nonprofit health care corporation reform act,"
(MCL 550.1101 to 550.1704) by adding section 220.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 220. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, a health
care corporation that is incorporated under this act and authorized
to offer and sell certificates in this state shall not be required
to offer and sell its certificates only through an exchange created
in this state for the purposes described in the patient protection
and affordable care act, Public Law 111-148, as amended by the
health care and education reconciliation act of 2010, Public Law
111-152.
