A bill to amend 1966 PA 346, entitled
"State housing development authority act of 1966,"
(MCL 125.1401 to 125.1499c) by adding chapter 3C.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
CHAPTER 3C
Sec. 59d. The state historic preservation office created in
Executive Order No. 2007-53 is established in the authority.
Sec. 59e. In addition to its other duties, the state historic
preservation office shall review proposed changes to the exterior
of a site listed on the state register of historic sites or the
national register of historic places that is not located in a local
historic district created under the local historic districts act,
1970 PA 169, MCL 399.201 to 399.215. The review shall be conducted
as described in 16 USC 470f and the response shall be forwarded to
the authority not later than 30 days after the state historic
preservation office receives the referral for review.
