SUMMARY:
The bill would amend the General Property Tax Act to require the notice to taxpayers of changes in their property assessments (both state equalized valuation and taxable value) and the date of the meeting of the local board of review be mailed to taxpayers at least 30 days before the board of review meets, instead of at least 14 days, as is now required.

FISCAL IMPACT:
As written, the bill should have no revenue impact on the state or local units of government.
