SUBSTITUTE FOR

SENATE BILL NO. 51

     A bill to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled

"Michigan memorial highway act,"

(MCL 250.1001 to 250.2080) by adding section 8a.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

     Sec. 8a. The portion of highway I-75 in Genesee County shall

be known as the "John Wayne "Dusty" Marcum Memorial Highway".

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

after the date it is enacted into law.
