CONTENT

 

House Bill 5738 would repeal Section 8 of Public Act 267 of 1947, which ratified the Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan Interstate Boundary Compact. Section 8 made a one-time appropriation of $2,000 from the General Fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1948, for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of the Compact.

 

House Bill 5741 would repeal Public Act 282 of 1927, which created a special commission that was required to designate and mark the boundary between Michigan and Wisconsin.
