SUBSTITUTE FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 6147

     A bill to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled

"Michigan memorial highway act,"

(MCL 250.1001 to 250.2080) by adding section 30a.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

     Sec. 30a. The portion of highway M-53 in Macomb County

beginning at the intersection with 14 Mile Road and extending south

to the intersection with 8 Mile Road shall be known as the "Det.

Sgt. Christopher M. Wouters Memorial Highway".

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

after the date it is enacted into law.
