SUBSTITUTE FOR

SENATE BILL NO. 480

     A bill to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled

"Michigan memorial highway act,"

(MCL 250.1001 to 250.2080) by adding section 23a.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

     Sec. 23a. The portion of highway I-96 beginning at mile marker

122 and extending west to mile marker 118 shall be known as the

"Mitchel A. Kiefer Foundation for Distracted Driver Awareness

Highway".

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

after the date it is enacted into law.
