SUBSTITUTE FOR

SENATE BILL NO. 543

     A bill to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled

"Michigan memorial highway act,"

(MCL 250.1001 to 250.2080) by adding section 19a.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

     Sec. 19a. The portion of highway I-94 in Kalamazoo County

between exit 80 and mile marker 86 shall be known as the "Chief Ed

Switalski Memorial Highway".

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

after the date it is enacted into law.
