SENATE BILL No. 1008

 

 

May 16, 2018, Introduced by Senator O'BRIEN and referred to the Committee on Oversight.

 

 

     A bill to amend 1955 PA 162, entitled

 

"An act to provide for the licensing and inspection of agricultural

liming material and to regulate the sale thereof; and to prescribe

penalties for the violations of the provisions of this act,"

 

by amending section 5 (MCL 290.535).

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 5. The director of agriculture shall publish in his

 

annual report a correct statement of all analyses made and

 

certificates filed in his office; together with a statement of all

 

moneys received for license fees, and expended for analysis. Any

 

surplus from license fees collected under section 3 remaining on

 

hand at the close of the fiscal year shall must be placed to the

 

credit of deposited in the general fund.

 

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

 

after the date it is enacted into law.
