CONTENT

 

The bill would enact a new law to allow an elected official could place his or her constituent services information in a local government office that was publicly accessible and was located within the district that the elected official represents.

 

"Elected official" would mean an individual who holds an elective office in this State or a local government in this State."

 

"Constituent services information" would mean nonpolitical information from an elected official that includes, but is not limited to, booklets, coffee hour notices, and event schedules.

 

"Local government" would mean a county, city, township, or village of this State.
