CONTENT

The bill would amend the State License Fee Act to modify the occupational license fees for mortuary science, funeral director, and resident trainee.

Currently, the Act prescribes the following license fees:

-- Mortuary science, if paid after September 30, 2019, $30.

-- Mortuary science, beginning October 1, 2003, through September 30, 2019, $40.

-- Funeral director, if paid after September 30, 2019, $30.

-- Funeral director, beginning October 1, 2003, through September 30, 2019, $40.

-- Resident trainee, if paid after September 30, 2019, $15.

-- Resident trainee, beginning October 1, 2003, through September 30, 2019, $30.

Under the bill, the license fees, instead, would be as follows:

-- Mortuary science, $40.

-- Funeral director, $30.

-- Resident trainee, $30.
