A bill to amend 1893 PA 206, entitled

"The general property tax act,"

(MCL 211.1 to 211.155) by adding section 7xx.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 7xx. A facility for which a renewable energy facilities exemption certificate issued under the renewable energy facilities payment in lieu of tax act, but not the land on which the facility is or will be located, is exempt from the collection of taxes under this act for the period beginning on the effective date of the renewable energy facilities exemption certificate and continuing as long as the renewable energy facilities exemption certificate is in force.

Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect unless Senate Bill No. 1105 of the 100th Legislature is enacted into law.
