Changes from FY 2021-22 Year-to-Date:
1. Prosecuting Attorneys Coordinating Council (PACC) digital evidence storage. The Governor included $10.0 million Gross and GF/GP in one-time appropriation to modernize the computer technology for the PACC due to an increase in digital evidence involved in cases. The Senate did not include.	0	0
2. Job Court. The Governor included $5.0 million Gross and GF/GP in one-time appropriation to reduce the criminal backlog for those who obtained employment. The Senate did not include.	0	0
3. Organized Retail Crime Unit. The Governor included $1.1 million Gross and GF/GP and 6.5 FTE positions to the Organized Retail Fraud Unit within the Department's criminal division. The Unit would be a statewide initiative aimed at protecting Michigan businesses by reducing organized retailed crime. The Senate did not include	0	0

FY 2022-23 Boilerplate Changes from FY 2021-22 Year-to-Date:

1. Contingency Fund Authorization (Deleted). The Senate deleted the Contingency Fund Authorization. (Sec. 301)

2. Prohibition of Expenditure (NEW). The Senate included a new section that restricts expenditure if the Attorney General is found to be derelict of duty as determined by the Legislature. (Sec. 302a)

3. Food Stamp Fraud Cases (Deleted). The Senate deleted the section appropriating $400,000 in boilerplate appropriations for food stamp fraud cases in the Third Circuit Court. (Sec. 305)

4. Lawsuit Settlements (NEW). The Senate included new language to subject any proceeds from a lawsuit settlement agreement to be subject to appropriation as provided by law. (Sec. 306a)

5. Enforcement Revenue Carry Forward (Deleted). The Senate deleted the section that allows the Attorney General to carry forward up to $250,000 in revenue received from antitrust, securities fraud, or consumer protection. (Sec. 307)

6. Litigation Expenses Reimbursement (Deleted). The Senate deleted the section that appropriated up to $500,000 for litigation expenses reimbursement awarded to the State and allow a carry forward up to $250,000. (Sec. 308)

7. Lawsuit Settlement Proceeds (Deleted). The Senate deleted to language that appropriates $2,667,100 in Lawsuit Settlement Proceeds for costs related to the declaration of emergency due to drinking water contamination. (Sec. 314)

8. Sexual Assault Law Enforcement Efforts (Deleted). The Governor/Senate deleted the language regarding the testing of backlogged sexual assault kits, assisting in local prosecution, and provide victim services. (Sec. 316)

9. Federal Lawsuit Notification. The Governor deleted the notification requirement on lawsuits filed against the Federal government. The Senate retained the current language. (Sec. 321)

10. PASS Data and Case Management (Deleted). The Governor/Senate deleted the language tied to One-Time appropriation for NextGen case management for PACC. (Sec. 323)

11. Technical Adjustments. The Governor/Senate made a number of technical modifications that include date changes, Part 1 appropriation changes, legacy cost adjustments, and standardized language. (Sec. 309, and 315)
