A bill to amend 1936 (Ex Sess) PA 1, entitled

"Michigan employment security act,"

(MCL 421.1 to 421.75) by adding sections 54i and 54j.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 54i. The unemployment agency shall establish and maintain a unit of employees that is dedicated solely to investigating violations described in section 54(b).

Sec. 54j. The unemployment agency shall not dissolve the fraud unit established under section 54i or transfer its duties to another entity.
