April 8, 2025

The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB), Office of Retirement Services (ORS) is pleased to present the Summary Annual Report for the Michigan Public School Employees’ Retirement System, henceforth referred to as the System, for the fiscal year (FY) ended Sept. 30, 2024.

ORS provides retirement and related retiree healthcare plans to help more than 690 public school employers attract, retain, and reward a highly qualified workforce.

In the FY ended Sept. 30, 2024, ORS paid out $8.3 billion in pension and healthcare benefits to retirees and beneficiaries of the five statewide public retirement systems that ORS administers.

Senate Bill No. 102, entitled

A bill to amend 1895 PA 161, entitled “An act to require county treasurers to furnish transcripts and abstracts of records, and fixing the fees to be paid therefor,” by amending section 1 (MCL 48.101), as amended by 2022 PA 215.

With the recommendation that the bill pass.
